Sight seeing

On a hill outside of Boise, a tree stands alone.

I got to go sight seeing a few hours yesterday. J.T. has a friend who lives in the mountains near Idaho City, Idaho. I took a few pictures... hopefully I will get a chance to upload them in the next few days.

I grew up in a religious home; went to Church on Sundays and attended private Christian schools, K-12. After that I spent 18 years being very non-religious. Finally, God revealed Himself to my heart (through the prayers of friends and family, and His Holy Word; the book of Romans, in particular). I understand that while I'm a sinner, who can never be perfect (and perfection is God's standard), Jesus met that standard for me (in His life, death and ressurection). All I need do is to turn away from my sins and accept Him as Lord in my life, for His perfection to be counted to my credit.
